Pruneau – FIV Positive

Say hello to Pruneau, the wide-eyed wonder!  She was born 5/11/2024 and named after the beloved character from Quebec’s (children show) Passe Partout, Pruneau has eyes as big as her curiosity. Despite her early adventure when she was briefly taken catnapped by another cat, Pruneau has bounced back with resilience. She, along with her sister Chewie, has had a rough start with losing her mother very early and her FIV diagnosis, but loves exploring her safe, cozy environment and will soon be ready to bring her big eyes and bigger heart into a forever home!

Caring for a kitten with FIV can be more involved than caring for one that is FIV negative, but this diagnosis does not have to significantly shorten their lifespans or diminish their quality of life. With regular vet checkups, an indoor lifestyle and a lot of love, these kittens can live long, health and fulfilling lives (and hep your life become more fulfilling, as well).  If you have experience with FIV cats or if you would like to bring Pruneau and her sister into your life, you are in for a rewarding experience caring for amazingly sweet and loving companions.
